Sean Hargreaves

Sean Hargreaves, who hails from the South of England, studied at the prestigious Berklee College of music and in Toronto with renowned jazz pianist Barry Harris. On his return to the UK he successfully  applied for an Arts  Council  grant to record his debut album, "Do You Know Who You Are?" (Terrapin Records) with the help of engineer/producer Keith Grant.  His second CD "Rush Hour" came out in 2005.

Sean’s trio works regularly on the UK scene, including gigs at the 606 Club, Ronnie Scott’s, South Bank & Barbican Hall foyers, and at the Brecon Jazz Festival.  As well as appearing on national TV throughout 2004 with Michael Buble, Sean has worked with a number of UK based jazz musicians such as John Etheridge, Byron Wallen, Ed Jones, Jim Mullen, Roger Beaujolais and Harry Beckett as well as some big names on the pop circuit, including Natalie Imbruglia, US3 and Alison Moyet. His trio also provided music for ‘My Fair Kerry’, a documentary broadcast on ITV1 in August 2005.
